POSEIDON

INFO The 3D printed wearable garment was developed and prototyped during Eyebeam’s Computational Fashion Master Course.

CHALLENGE Design a 3D printed wearable garment without any post-production assembly.

SOLUTION 

PROTOTYPE A full-size wearable garment model was designed and 3D printed.

MY ROLE Concept development, product development, 3D modeling and project management.

TRIPPLE BEAM BALANCE SCALE

INFO This project was developed and prototyped for Dan November’s Product Design Course.

CHALLENGE Research and improve on the current designs.

SOLUTION I redesign the overall form of the scale to communicate it’s intended functionality. This concept envisions a scale that dititally weights and calibrates but still retains traditional and familiar components such as the movable weights inorder to better communicate its functionality to new users.

PROTOTYPE A full-size concept model was physically created.

CITRUS MANUAL JUICER

INFO This project was developed and prototyped for Dan November’s Product Design Course.

CHALLENGE Research and improve on the current designs.

SOLUTION I redesign the overall form of the juicer to communicate it’s intended functionality to the user.  Almost every component of the product communicate the idea of fluid and the movement of liquid.

PROTOTYPE A full-size concept model was physically created.

MY ROLE User research, market research, product development, create mockups and prototype.

FOLDING CHAIR

INFO This project was developed and prototyped for Mark Goetz’s Graduate Furniture Design Course.

CHALLENGE Design functional furniture for compact living spaces such as a small NYC apartment.

SOLUTION The chair was designed with unique folding joints so it can folded and hang on a wall when not in use in order to free up limited space.

PROTOTYPE A full-size functional folding chair was created.

MY ROLE User research, market research, product development, create mockups and fabrication.

DINING SET

INFO This project was developed and prototyped for Lucia DeRespinis’s Tabletop Design Course.

CHALLENGE Select a unique cuisine and design dining set to enhance the dining experience.

SOLUTION The dining set was designed to enhance the Balinese’s traditional practice of hand-eating.  The design of the collection referenced the Hindu trinity and the geography of the Bali islands and surrounding sea.

PROTOTYPE A collection of dinning china.

MY ROLE User research, market research, product development, create mockups and fabrication.

DINING SET

INFO This project was developed and prototyped for Karen Stones’s 3D Design Studio.

CHALLENGE Rethink and design an outdoor reclining chair.

SOLUTION Final chair concept was arrived through a series of experimentations with different materials and compositions.

PROTOTYPE A collection drawings and sculptural form studies.

MY ROLE Concept development and iterations.
